editing the final product

Today we were blogging again. There was a problem though. The computer we were working on was taken by another group. when we finally got our computer, our video wasn't saved. We had to start all over but, it didn't take as long to get back where we were because we knew what we had to do and how to do it. Then when we tried to get on pinnacle studios, it wasn't running correctly so we had to get a laptop. The laptop didn't run the clips fast or well. It would be all choppy and it would have bad sound that would cut in and out. This made it very hard to know when to cut stuff out. Then we realized that it just didn't sync yet.

Once it finished syncing, we really started going. We got back to where we were. we got back to 40 seconds which we still have to cut a bit more. We also got it where everything was a smooth transition to each take. We cut it a bit more to 35 seconds and it seemed a bit rushed. We didn't know what to do. Then we came up with the idea to put music over it. We thought it would make the commercial go smoother and make it intentionally rushed looking. It looked cooler and we had to decide when we would put the music in. we looked at it many different ways and decide to have it play lightly over the entire commercial.

We also looked at other aspects of editing. We looked at transitions and a lot of them looked good. We wanted a good transition from eating to looking cool. We saw fireworks but that didn't look good. We saw lots of weird ones with houses and draw bridges but those were too overly complicated. Then there was one with a smoke effect. A smoke effect like ninjas use to vanish and it looked really smooth. then we actually saved it this time. i am very excited to continue editing next class. my teacher gave us an extended due date because of the computers messing up.
