Introduction music video

After we finished our commercial project last class and we are starting the new project now. Our new project is a music video. I’m very excited to start our video because I feel it will cool to be off campus. We get a wide area of creativity to work with instead of just being on school ground. In our last commercial we got an understanding on how long filming can be. We also know what editing tools we have to work with. The songs we can use are also in wide range.

The song we are doing is rock lobster. I think we can do something funny with that and my group agrees. We were thinking we could have a story about a lobster that is causing chaos. The chaos isn’t going to be extreme though, it will be more like an annoyance. When people try to get away from it the lobster will come back. We will have multiple lobsters towards the end just being annoying. Then it will end with chef taking it away.

The costumes we will use will be a lobster costume and some normal average joe costumes. The lobster costume because we need a lobster to be annoying and normal costume for someone to be annoyed. Lighting will be natural. We will be outside and inside with the sun and the room lights as the lighting. The acting will be the best of the best. We will have people reacting not over top but noticeable and the lobster be just crazy. The makeup we will use will be none. No one will need to where makeup unless we use red face paint. Props we will use would be a fake lobster and like beach props. The fake lobster will transform into a big lobster and the beach stuff are just stuff for the beach. The setting will be the beach and someone’s house. The beach is where it will start and the house will be towards the end. The camera angles we will use will be simplistic with wide shots to close ups. Sounds we will use will be digestive to begin with and music in the middle and digestive at the end. We will have special effects for some shots like smoke and filters.
