Filming blog

We filmed today after school. It was fun and we learned a lot from last time we filmed. we knew that we had way too many shots for last project so we went a little easy. First we went to see where to start filming. We went to the beach and found a place where the main character can chill. I had a snack and set up a shot from my phone. We had a time lapse set up for five minutes as we filmed other shots. We had all of our props ready and it was a close call because we had limited daylight. The weather was really windy too but we just fought through it. After all of this we were ready to film.

It started off with me walking to the beach. I laid out my towel and relaxed until I heard a song. The crab that was named lobster was playing music that really annoyed the man. So he moved his setup. In his field of view he saw a man dressed like a lobster juggling rocks. He ducks all the rocks that get thrown at him. He runs away because he doesn't want to be crushed with rocks. Then he finds a bottle on the floor. He drinks it because he thinks he is seeing things. The water tastes really bad like salt water and spits it out immediately. He reads the label and it says rock lobster.

Then it goes into a short dance scene. I thought it was pretty funny. We had see through tape to make the crab dance like a puppet. We had the guy playing the lobster dance in different places. The dance was a dance where you would squat down a bit and pinch in the air like a crab or a lobster. Then it ends with the lobster being put in a pot. The music stops when the lid gets put over the pot. We haven't filmed the pot part yet. One of my teammates are going home and will film it tonight by himself. Tomorrow we will edit our film and I think it will make it so good.
