Storyboard music blog

Me and my team did a storyboard on our music video. We had fun coming up with the ideas for what we were going to do with it. I drew the pictures in our storyboard and the team agreed. I drew because I was the best at drawing and I am in an art class. Just because I was the one drawing however, did not mean I was doing all the work. Dylan, Trent, and Owen gave me ideas on how to show off what was going on. I drew everything in the storyboard that we knew we were going to have. I drew a lobster tank from Publix, The props that the beach goer was going to use, and the lobster costume. My team helped me remember to draw everything. By the end we knew we had good thing going.

It starts off with a man sitting on his towel at the beach. He hears music and then realizes that there is a lobster with a boombox in front of him. He gets annoyed and gets up and walks away but then sees there is lobster dancing in his far vision. He gets nervous and drinks some water to make sure he isn't seeing things. The water is sea water and is immediately spit out because of the saltiness. The man feeling harassed runs away and tries to get help. Then there is a lot of shots where lobsters are dancing to the music. We will have the lobster tank in there as well to show live lobsters. The beach goer comes back and gets a chef with him. The chef puts the lobster in the pot and the song turns off and is carried away.

We will use many camera angles that will make the scenes look better. At the beginning we were thinking we would have a medium shot on the beach goer and the lobster. When he gets up we will have a two shot because we count the lobster as a person because fish are friends not food. An over the shoulder shot on the life sized lobster in the back ground. A medium close up on the person drinking the salt water. An extreme or regular close up on the tag of the bottle that says Rock Lobster.
We will have a wide shot on the shore as the beach goer runs by. We will have a wide variety on shots when the dance/tank scenes are shown. On the lobster tank we will have a pan from one side to another. when the lobster gets put in the pot, there will be a close up on the pot and the lobster.
